The Center for Sustainable Development and Technology Studies at the Jordan University of Science and Technology implemented a training workshop for active members of the local community in the building of the Youth Without Borders Association for Sustainable Development in Ramtha, entitled “Concepts of Community Accountability and Public Participation and Their Applications in the Health Sector” in the presence of the Mayor of Ramtha, Mr. Ahmed Al-Khazaleh. The workshop comes as another activity within the first phase of the project “Developing Effective Social Accountability Strategies for Better Health Outcomes in Jordan,” which falls within the project “Enhancing Community Accountability and Empowering Civil Society Institutions to Achieve Good Governance,” which is implemented in cooperation with the Al-Hayat Center -Rased, as part of the project. From the Nazaha project funded by the European Union and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation.
