A team representing the Center for Sustainable Development Studies and Technology at Jordan University of Science and Technology, headed by Prof. Ammar Almaaytah, Director of the Center, visited the Ramtha Youth Center, during which they met Ms. Rawan Al-Zoubi, Director of the Center.

During the meeting, aspects of future cooperation in the fields of community development and community health care were discussed, within the initiative of " Support to social accountability and empowering Civil Society for better governance", as part of the Nazaha project funded by AECID and the European Union Delegation in Jordan through the grantee organization Al Hayat Consultancy for Development Research (RASED)”.

In addition, Prof. Almaaytah confirmed that this visit is a continuation of the frameworks of cooperation and coordination between the Jordan University of Science and Technology and civil society institutions. It is only a starting point and the beginning of establishing developmental projects that contribute to achieving the university's philosophy, and goals, and enhancing its role in the field of social responsibility. At the end of the meeting, Almaayatah stressed that the center will collaborate with civil society organizations and institutions to develop tools and activate them with the aim of enabling the community to measure the integrity of health institutions.
