The 7th International Scientific Agricultural Conference (SSAC-2012) successfully concluded. Held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Hamzah Bin Al-Hussein, Faculty of Agriculture of Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) organized this conference on the occasion of its Silver Jubilee (1987-2012). The conference was conducted in collaboration with Faculties of Agriculture at Five Jordanian Universities, Agriculture Engineers Association (AEA), National Center for Agricultural Research and Extension (NCARE) and Private sector.
The three-day conference included a world-class forum, agricultural exhibition, scientific meetings and social tour. The conference had a perfect opportunity for agriculture and industry leaders, academia, companies delegates, growers and grower representatives to share their experiences, discuss practical technologies and adopted solutions for the challenges encountered in fields of agriculture, water, food and environment, and foster scientific and cultural exchange.
The organizing committee of SSAC would like to extend its sincere thanks to the eminent speakers and all particpants who showed very high scientific standard and made this event impressive and quite memorable. Plus, the conveners of SSAC are proud of the outstanding success and the implications of this prestigious scientific conference.
These achievements are in keeping with the vision and mission of Faculty of Agriculture to be one of the top leading hubs in Jordan and the region at large in the major tracks: Education, Scientific Reserach and Community Service.
