Second Regional Symposium on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)

RESCAP-MED is pleased to host the 2^nd Regional Symposium on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) entitled "Socio-political Challenges in the Mediterranean Region: Implications for NCD Prevention and Control". The Symposium will take place in Beirut, Lebanon, on December 3-4, 2014.

The Symposium organizers are looking forward to vibrant and engaging abstracts (up to 400 words) that revolve around non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and

· Displacement and migration

· War and conflict

· Socio-political transformations

· Demographic transitions

· Capacity building, training and education

· National health systems and provision of care in times of crisis
