JUST Library maintains print course reserves. All reserve items are listed in the online catalog and can be searched by Instructor or class.
Print Reserves:
Print reserves are held at the Reference Desk and are organized by Call Number. Patrons are asked to provide Reserve staff with Reserve Call Numbers when requesting materials. Loan periods are determined by library, and can vary from 2-hour Library Use only to 1 Day check out. Overnight check-outs must to be returned within one hour of the library opening the day the item is due.
Fines for overdue reserves are 10 percent for each hour.
Requesting Course Reserves :
Instructors may request that items be placed on Course Reserve by submitting a Reserve Request form, available at the Reference Desk. Before the material will be used for class. Instructors may place items from the University Library's collection or their own personal items on reserve. However, materials owned by another library may not be placed on reserve. Instructors are encouraged to place no more than two copies of any item on print reserve.
All items are removed from reserve and all personal items returned at the end of every semester. If items need to be kept on Reserve for multiple semesters, please be sure to note this on the reserve request form.
Due to Copyright concerns only one article from a book or journal issue may be on e-reserve at a time. Material which violates any of these guidelines will not knowingly be made available.
