Loan period and the number of renewals vary depending both the material type and  the patron's status . 

Renewal Materials

Renewals materials can be renewed in person by bringing them to the  circulation desk. Materials can be renewed before their current due date , the new due date will be calculated from the date the material is renewed.

If an item has been requested by another person , you may be Informed that it can not be renewed.

The overdue fine started after two days of the due date. The patrons pay 15 percent fine per every day overdue for general Collections. The payment to fine should be in the Finance Affairs Unit.

Overduereserve  materials are 10 percent per item per hour for both ( 2 ) hours reserve and night  reserve.

Lost Items

If  the patron lost the item the library charges him the replacement cost according to its local policy.

The library blocks the patron from borrowing new items  if his fine reached 2 JD or more.

To provide reference assistance in library use and research to both the University and local communities  and to help patrons effectively use the library print sources as well as provide them with information regarding the library's collections.

The Periodicals Section of JUST library provides access to and assists library Patrons in using all of the periodicals resources to which the library subscribes .

 The periodicals staff check-in each newly arrived periodicals issues and make it available to patrons ,usually the same day that it arrives .

 When the most recent year's volume of periodicals is complete , we make arrangements for many of them to be sent for binding into a hard cover  to facilitate ease of use and to better preserve them .

 The Periodicals section also has a subscriptions to number  of daily newspapers titles , in addition to back files for 20 years of bounded titles .

 Periodicals do not circulate , it available  for library using and photocopying.
