وفد من مكتب ايراسموس + الوطني يزور جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا
التقى رئيس جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا الاردنية الاستاذ الدكتور عمر الجراح وفدا من مكتب ايراسموس بلس الوطني برئاسة مدير المكتب في الاردن الاستاذ الدكتور احمد ابو الهيجاء وبرفقة الدكتورة ريم الخضر مسؤولة المشاريع في المكتب والسيدة امال الجبراني ممثلة مكتب ايراسموس بلس في تونس.
واكد الدكتور الجراح خلال اللقاء اهمية برنامج ايراسموس بلس للجامعة ودوره الكبير في بناء القدرات في التعليم العالي وربط الجامعة مع مؤسسات التعليم العالي الاوروبية والتي تأتي ضمن استراتيجية الجامعة في الانطلاق نحو العالمية.
كما استعرض الدكتور الجراح الاجراءات التي قامت بها ادارة الجامعة لتشجيع اعضاء هيئة التدريس على التقدم الى مشاريع البرنامج والمدعومة من الاتحاد الاوروبي بالإضافة الى تنظيم عملية التبادل الأكاديمي الدولي عبر مكتب العلاقات الدولية في الجامعة.
وبدوره اشار مدير مكتب ايراسموس + الوطني في الاردن الدكتور أبو الهيجاء ان برنامج ايراسموس بلس قد عمل خلال السنوات الاخيرة على دعم العديد من المشاريع المشتركة بين الجامعة وشركائها الاوروبيين من خلال مشاريع بناء القدرات الاكاديمية ومشاريع التبادل الأكاديمي الدولي وان قيمة الدعم المقدمة لهذه المشاريع في ازدياد مستمر.
وتأتي زيارة المكتب للاطلاع على سير مشروع Heal + التي تشارك به كلية تكنولوجيا الحاسوب والمعلومات في الجامعة بالإضافة الى متابعة مشاريع التبادل الأكاديمي الدولي المدعومة من الاتحاد الاوروبي.

A Delegation from the National Erasmus + Office Visits JUST
The President of the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Prof. Omar Al Jarrah, met with a delegation from the National Erasmus +Office headed by the Director of the Office in Jordan, Dr. Ahmed Abu Al-Haijaa, accompanied by Dr. Reem Al-Khader, the Erasmus + Projects Officer in addition to Ms. Amal Al-Jubrani, a representative of the Tunisian National Erasmus + Office.
Prof. Al-Jarrah stressed the importance of the Erasmus + projects for the university and its significant role in building capacities in higher education and linking the university with European institutions of Higher Education, which is an integral part of the university's strategy regarding Internationalization.
Dr. Al-Jarrah also reviewed the measures taken by the university's administration to encourage faculty members to participate and apply to the program's projects that are supported by the European Union, Additionally, the president also explained that the university has drafted and implemented several regulations to organize the international academic exchange process through its International Relations Office.
For his part, the Director of the Erasmus + Office in Jordan, Dr. Abulhaija, said that the Erasmus + office has worked in recent years to support many joint projects between the university and its European partners through enhancing and monitoring academic capacity building projects in addition to the international credit mobility (ICM) program.
