التكنولوجيا تحصد مراكز متقدمة في المسابقة الإبداعية لأكاديمية حكيم في مجال المعلوماتية الصحية
فاز فريق طلبة كلية التمريض بالمركز الثاني والرابع والخامس على مستوى كليات التمريض في المملكة في المسابقة الابداعية السنوية الأولى لأكاديمية حكيم في مجال المعلوماتية الصحية والتي شارك بها عدد من كليات التمريض من الجامعات الاردنية الرسمية والخاصة.
وقالت الدكتورة ليلى أخو زهيه من كلية التمريض في الجامعة والمشرفة على مشاريع الطلبة إن مشاركة الطلبة جاءت ضمن التطبيقات لمساق نظم المعلومات الصحية حيث تعتبر كلية التمريض من أوائل الكليات في إدراج هذا المساق ضمن الخطة الدراسية لمواكبة التغيرات في الرعاية الصحية وتقديم الرعاية الأمثل للمرضي .
وأكدت الدكتورة أخو زهية أن المشاركة جاءت كجزء من اهتمام ومشاركة الجامعة وكلية التمريض في النشاطات المحلية والدولية والتي تتعلق بالمجالات الطبية.
وتناولت المشاريع عدة مواضيع من شأنها تقديم الفائدة لمتلقي الرعاية الصحية والقائمين على الرعاية الصحية، وتشجيعا لمبدأ تعزيز عمل الفريق الواحد من عدة تخصصات وكان عدد من طلبة كلية الحاسوب وتكنولوجيا المعلومات والهندسة الطبية والحيوية في المشاريع مما كان له دور وفائدة في إتمام المشاريع علي أكمل وجه.
من جهتها أبدت لجنة التحكيم إعجابها بمستوى المشاريع المقدمة من قبل طلبة التمريض في جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا.
JUST won advanced rank in the 1st Annual Hakeem Academy Competition of Health Informatics for Jordanian Universities
Teams of students in the Faculty of Nursing won second, fourth, and fifth ranks among the nursing faculties in the 1st Annual Hakeem Academy Competition of Health Informatics, which was attended by a number of nursing faculties from both governmental and private Jordanian universities.
Dr. Laila Akhu-Zaheya, of the Faculty of Nursing at Jordan University of Science and Technology and supervisor of student projects, said the participation of the students came within applications for the course of health informatics; whereas the Faculty of Nursing at JUST is one of the first faculties to include this course in the faculty plan, in order to keep up with changes in health care and to provide optimal care for patients.
Dr. Akhu-Zaheya confirmed that participation came as part of the interest and participation of the university, as well as the Faculty of Nursing in the domestic and international activities which relate to patient care and health care improvement.
The projects addressed several topics which will provide benefit to the recipient of health care and health care providers. Encouraging the principle of strengthening team work and multidisciplinary work, students from the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, and the Faculty of Biological Engineering participated in the project, which was a great benefit in the completion and success of the projects.
For their part, leaders of Hakeem Academy were impressed by the level of projects submitted by nursing students at the Jordan University of Science and Technology.
