Course Description

This course is the applied portion (discussion, conversation, and application) and it is three credit hours and its previous prerequisite is Arabic 101 which is it’s foundation in addition to larger scripts for application in labs. This course offers all the linguistic skills needed by the student in his practical life. These skills are conscious expressive reading, composition about what the student reads or hears, and understanding what the language means.
For this the course has made sure to cover all the basic linguistic necessities and cover them as well as nourishing the skills gained by the student to enrich them by going in depth in the language. The successful way to do this is by having practical training that covers all the principles in morphology, syntax, translation, dictation, writing, numbering and listening. The scripts chosen are from Arabic 101 in addition to other scripts that are appropriate for the lab
