Welcome from the Dean
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Faculty of Nursing, whose major objectives are the development of human resources, improvement of nursing education programs and delivery of evidence-based nursing services to individuals, families and the community by large.Since its establisment, the Faculty of Nursing has witnessed a rapid growth through continuous development and updating of basic and graduate nursing programs. We believe in continuous review and restructuring of the nursing curricula in response to increased national and international demands on health care services, increased use of complex information technology systems, and changing health care needs of the community.
As the largest school in the region, we currently have a student body of 2300 graduate and undergraduate nursing students from eleven nationalities. The Faculty continues to respond to the market needs of nursing staff regionally and internationally. Graduates of our programs are also sought by local, regional, and international health care and educational institutions. . . . More
