This course will teach basic concepts in toxicology such as definitions, area and scope of toxicology, toxicant interaction, mechanisms of cell injury, carcinogenesis, oxidative stress, toxicological responses to biochemical, functional, and morphological changes. In addition, this course provides a comprehensive overview of the basic principles of toxicology and the practical aspects of forensic toxicology. Students will learn to define the toxic agents most commonly resulting in legal problems in our society
