P.H. (733): Public Health & The Law (2 Cr. Hr.) :
This course will give students an introduction to the process and an overview of the rules and regulations governing the organization and administration of health care, health manpower, health care facilities and services. Laws affecting the reporting of communicable diseases and care of the elderly will be reviewed. Ethical issues in medical car, human reproduction, abortion and other controversial issues will be discussed.
