1 credit hour (3 h lab). An experimental approach to obtain solutions for thermo-fluid systems. Experiments include: pipe flows, flow meters, hydrostatic forces on immersed systems, pumps performance curves, jet forces, thermal conductivity of materials, heat transfer coefficients, heat exchanger performance, air-condition units, refrigeration cycles, boiling and condensation processes.
