The Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Center for Environmental Sciences and Technology (QRACEST), at Jordan University of Science and Technology is searching for one full-time Research Assistant for the project titled " Cooperative Assessment and Management of the Al-Hawizeh/Al-Adhim Marsh (CAMAAM)", under the following conditions:

Application Deadline: Wednesday, 17 February 2025 at 12:00 pm (noon)

Job Description:

1. Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings.
2. Collect and analyze data using appropriate methods.
3. Assist in designing and setting up experiments or studies.
4. Manage and organize research data, ensuring documentation and security.
5. Contribute to research reports and presentations, including synthesis and writing.
6. Completing any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
7. The period of the contract is 3 months, renewable to 15 months upon management satisfaction
8. The contract starts upon signing the contract.
   
    
   
   Eligibility

1. Bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering or natural sciences from a recognized university with a minimum grade of good or Master's degree in civil and environmental engineering, natural resources and environment, water resources, sustainable water resources, geology, geography, or any related discipline from a recognized university with a minimum grade of very good.
2. Thesis subject must be related to water resources management, climate change Geographic Information Systems, and Remote Sensing.
3. Applicant's nationality: Jordanian.
   
    
   
   Skills

1. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Arabic.
2. Previous experience in research work.
3. Ability to work within a team and handle work pressure.
