Energy  Center  was  instituted  in  June 2004  to  establish closer  relationship between Jordan University of  Science and Technology and the  public / private sectors.

The University Council of Governors, and the Ministry of Higher Education have been issued and approved the internal code and by laws for the center. The center is governed by a Board entrusted with formulating general policies and work plans, mobilizing financial resources & soliciting external funds & reviewing the overall performance of the center.
