The “Period Poverty” event was organized at the Youth-Friendly Clinic / Faculty of Nursing on the campus of Jordan University of Science and Technology, where a team from King Hussein Cancer Foundation was invited to participate.

The event aimed to raise awareness and promote healthier lifestyles among female and male students at the university. The workshop emphasized that mental health and reproductive health are not luxuries, but fundamental rights that should be accessible to every girl and young person without discrimination. It also provided supportive spaces, taught stress-management skills, and highlighted the connection between the environment and health through sustainable daily habits.​
