psychological burnout among workers in medical institutions

On Wednesday, 6/5/2026, an educational session was held for a group of master’s students from the Faculty of Nursing with dr ahlam alnatour regarding the services and operational mechanism of the Youth-Friendly Clinic. The session was presented by psychologist Dr. Marwa Huseinat, Dr. Samira Hassoun, and the clinic coordinator, Ms. Eman Ghanem.

The session addressed the topic of psychological burnout among workers in medical institutions, in addition to highlighting the clinic’s services in the areas of education and counseling, the nature of the issues addressed by the clinic, as well as introducing mental health, the classification of psychological disorders, and methods of treatment.

Students’ contributions and questions were discussed, and the educational role of healthcare providers was clarified according to their different responsibilities, with emphasis on the important role of nursing in spreading awareness and considering patients’ psychological well-being.

Such field visits aim to introduce the role of the Youth-Friendly Clinic at Jordan University of Science and Technology and to strengthen community partnerships with various disciplines and segments of society.​​
