On Sunday, July 26, 2026, Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) had the honor of hosting a delegation from the World Health Organization Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (WHO EMRO) and the WHO office in Jordan. This visit was part of the preliminary assessment for the "Health-Promoting University" initiative, reflecting an outstanding level of institutional commitment to global best practices in health promotion.

The Smoking Cessation Clinic, through the "JUST Quit" initiative, is proud to have played a part in this distinguished visit. Members of the initiative showcased our journey and key activities—including volunteer efforts—as well as our vision and future plans aimed at raising health awareness and fostering a tobacco-free university environment.

This turnout reflects the ongoing efforts of the initiative’s members and embodies the spirit of teamwork and belief in our mission. We are proud of all the initiative’s members and founders, who played a pivotal role in achieving this milestone and representing the university in the best possible light.
