The Office of the Department of Legal Affairs at the University undertakes many tasks and specializations: including following up all human rights, penal, administrative, Sharia and arbitration cases in all Jordanian regular and Sharia courts, in addition to following up on all legal advice transferred from all units and departments of the University to it, and it also drafts all agreements signed between The university and external parties, reviewing and auditing them in order to preserve the rights of the university. The Legal Department also participates in expressing a legal opinion in disputes related to university .employees​
