Unit Objectives
 
  • Training engineering fucalty students and equip them with basic skills to use the tools and hand tools and operating of some production machinery
  • Equip students of Mechanical Engineering Department with some advanced practical skills in production processes and metal machining through the use of computerize machinery
  • Produce all projects that designed by students or faculty members
  • produce most metal and wooden furniture, spare parts for university , and local community.
  • support local community by holding specialized training courses for employees of some private companies, and training college students and vocational training centers, and manufacturing of metal parts and glass for the public sector institutions and private
  • Provide technical advice to some of the institutions of public and private sectors in terms of installation and operation of some industrial devices and training of engineers on how to operate and maintain.
