The Military Sciences Office started its services at the second semester of the academic year 86/87. It is in charge of teaching the "Military Sciences" course which is compulsory for all Jordanian students. The course aims at giving general screening of the Jordanian Armed Forces; its development, potentials, duties and contribution to society. The course also aims at fostering the spirit of discipline, order, obedience and leadership, and incorporates the study of Jordanian, Islamic and Arab history.
