Before Mobility
After final selection and mobility approval, an email will be sent to the exchange student from host university which includes details about application process, required documents, orientation week, link to course catalogue, accommodation option etc.
Some universities might require additional documents and information.
Apply for visa
Certain nationalities require an entry visa to be obtained prior to travel and other nationalities can be obtained upon arrival, please click here to see which nationalities require visa clearance.
Once the students arrive Queen Alia International Airport, Amman, he/she will be given a stamped permit in her/his passport with a specific duration. The cost of this tourist visa varies with country of origin and fees may change (around 40 JOD =56 $).

AirportsThere are two airport in Jordan; one in the capital city, Amman AMM. Queen Alia International Airport, and the second one southern Jordan in Aqaba AQJ King Hussein International Airport. Incoming students are advised to arrive at Queen Alia Airport, so it is easy for ISN buddy to arrange your pick-up. While possibility to help with your airport pick up from Aqaba airport is impossible. We can send you instructions how to get to Irbid from Aqaba city.
