The staff member of the International Relations Office at Jordan University of Science and Technology, Mr. Ziad Al- Khamaiseh, participated in International Week of the University of Algarve, Portugal, which was held under the Erasmus+ projects, ICM JAIMES. The International Relations and Mobility Office (GRIM) of the University of Algarve received, between 19 and 21 June, visitors were several international staff members from Jordan University of Science and Technology (Jordânia), Hue University (Vietnam), Université Hassan 1er (Morocco), University Maryland Baltimore County (United States of America) and Nord University (Norway), under the Erasmus+ projects, European University of the Seas (SEA-EU), consortium ICM JAIMES and UAlg Alliances.
During the working week, the IRO Staff member, Mr. Ziad Al – Khamaiseh participated in several meetings that were held at the University of Algarve during which the IRO staff member met with the University of Algarve` vice-rector for Internationalization and Sustainable Development, Alexandra Teodósio. With the directors of the Faculty of Economics (FE), the Faculty of Science and Technology (FCT) and the Instituto Superior of Engineering (ISE), new opportunities for joint projects, both in terms of teaching and research, were also discussed during the meeting Link.
In addition, the IRO Staff member, Mr. Ziad Al – Khamaiseh, and the other international week`s participants also visited the Center for Marine and Environmental Research (CIMA), the Center for Marine Sciences (CCMAR) and the Algarve Tech Hub at the University of Algarve.
