Nanotechnology and Materials Science is the study and engineering of matter at the nanoscale, where materials exhibit unique physical, chemical, biological, and optical properties not observed at larger scales. The field includes the fabrication and characterization of nanomaterials and their applications in energy, environment, healthcare, and information technology.
The program offers a balanced combination of foundational science and engineering courses, including mathematics, electronics, manufacturing processes, and materials structure and properties, alongside specialized nanotechnology courses such as nanomedicine, nanophysics, polymers, and nanofabrication. It includes extensive laboratory and computational training, culminating in a graduation project and professional training placement.
