Jordan University of Science and Technology Holds Orientation Workshop for New Faculty Staff
The Deanship of Academic Development and Quality Assurance at Jordan University of Science and Technology organized an orientation workshop for newly appointed faculty staff, aiming to introduce them to the university's systems, services, and resources. The workshop sought to support their academic and research careers and to reinforce their role in advancing the educational process.
The workshop was officially opened by Professor Maher Tadros, Dean of Academic Development and Quality Assurance. The opening was attended by Professor Majed Masadeh, Dean of Student Affairs. During the session, Professor Tadros emphasized the pivotal role of faculty staff in advancing both teaching and research, and highlighted the university's strong commitment to high-quality academic outcomes as well as fostering a culture of innovation and development in alignment with its mission and vision.
The workshop featured a series of introductory sessions presented by representatives from several deanships and administrative units, including the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, the Human Resources Unit, the Centennial Library Unit, the Deanship of Scientific Research, and the Center for E-Learning and Open Educational Resources. The program also included a specialized lecture on the university's course quality assurance system.
