Today, Wednesday, Jordan University of Science and Technology launched the Dentistry Research Day, coinciding with the meeting of the Jordanian section of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR).

The event was held under the patronage of Professor Basheer Khassawneh, Vice President of the university, representing the University President. Attendees included prof Rola Habashneh, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, along with faculty and administrative staff, students, dental researchers, and representatives from the dental sectors across the Kingdom.

The Research Day aims to highlight the latest scientific research advancements in various fields of dentistry, as well as to promote cooperation among researchers and support scientific communication.

Prof Khasawneh emphasized that scientific research is a cornerstone in developing the healthcare sector, noting that such scientific gatherings offer opportunities for researchers to exchange expertise and ideas and strengthen academic cooperation. He also praised the role of the Faculty of Dentistry in producing high-quality research that contributes to improving oral and dental health on a national level.

Prof Habashneh stressed that innovation in scientific research is the path to advancing dentistry and delivering high-quality healthcare services to the community, emphasizing the importance of expanding scientific collaboration between universities and research institutions within and outside Jordan.
