Lecture at Jordan University of Science and Technology about the Latest Scientific Developments in Nervous Stress

A scientific lecture entitled "Understanding Stress- Insights from Animal Models and Human" was held at Jordan University of Science and Technology, organized by the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in cooperation with the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center at the university and with the support of the American Fulbright Foundation within the Fulbright Specialist Program.

The lecture, which was presented by Dr. Samina Salem from the University Of Houston, USA, included several topics, the most important of which are the concept of nervous stress, its causes and differences in response to it, specifically in the refugee category, and the relationship of nervous stress with oxidative and inflammatory factors.

In turn, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Prof. Nihaya Al-Sheyab, and the Director of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center at the university, Prof. Qutaiba Khatatbeh, thanked the American Fulbright Foundation for its continuous support to the university, stressing the importance of this type of lectures aimed at providing participants with the necessary skills to learn The latest scientific developments.
