​Jordan University of Science and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding with Misurata University of Libya, concerned with the fields of research and academic cooperation.

The memorandum was signed by the Vice President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Prof. Ahmed Al-Ajlouni, and on behalf of the Misurata University, Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Muhammad Al-Fitouri Circassian, in the presence of the Cultural Counselor at the Embassy of the State of Libya, Dr. Ahmed Al-Dweik, the Director of the International Cooperation Office, Dr. Muhammad Abu Gharsa, and the Director of the Research and Consultation Center, Dr. Al-Mahdi Al-Siti. And Director of the Engineering Research Office, Dr. Ahmed Bainou.

The memorandum included cooperation between the two sides in the fields of conducting scientific research of common interest, exchanging students and members of the academic and administrative bodies, joint supervision of master's and doctoral theses for both parties, holding short-term special academic programs, in addition to holding professional development programs, and participating in conferences and seminars organized by the two sides in various fields of knowledge.
