Jordan University of Science and Technology celebrated World Restart A Heart Day
Jordan University of Science and Technology celebrated World Restart A Heart Day, emphasizing the importance of CPR and first aid in emergencies. Vice President Professor Basheer Khassawneh opened the event, which included training workshops, lectures, and CPR demonstrations to teach essential life-saving techniques.
Attendees practiced on medical mannequins under professional supervision, gaining practical skills in responding to sudden cardiac arrest. Professor Khassawneh, highlighted the alignment of the event with the university's mission to foster social responsibility and equip students and staff with emergency response skills.
The celebration was attended by Vice President Professor Muna Abu Dalou, Dean of Applied Medical Sciences Professor Nihaya Al-Sheyab, along with faculty, students, and healthcare professionals, all committed to enhancing community preparedness.
