Discussing Cooperation between Jordan University of Science and Technology and the German Research Foundation DFG
September 27 /// The President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Prof. Khalid El-Salem, discussed during his meeting with a delegation of the German Research Foundation DFG, which included researchers from various German applied universities, ways of cooperation between the two sides in the fields of applied scientific research, which is concerned with water, energy, agriculture and the environment.
El-Salem pointed to the university’s endeavor, as part of its strategy, to be a distinguished research and pioneering institurion, and a catalyst for creativity, innovation and leadership, stressing its keenness to develop external relations that support scientific research, capacity-building and partnerships with prestigious research universities, which is positively reflected on the scientific level of scientific research at the university.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Office of International Relations, in cooperation with the Center of Excellence for Creative Projects at the university, organized a panel discussion during which the members of the delegation met with a number of faculty members at the university, during which they discussed aspects of cooperation and future plans of the institution to attract distinguished researchers to participate in conducting scientific research in the fields of science, engineering, and science.
