​Deputizing for HRH Princess Muna Al-Hussein, Her Excellency Prof. Ruwaida Al-Maaytah, Consultant to HRH Princess Muna Al-Hussein for Health and Community Development, sponsored the launch of the activities of the scientific conference entitled "Primary Health Care and Health Wellbeing" Economic Modernization Vision 2033, which was organized by Jordan University of Science and Technology, in the presence of the University President, Prof. Khalid El-Salem.

The conference, in which a number of experts in the field of primary health care and health well-being participated, discussed a range of topics related to the transition to primary health care, comprehensive health insurance and improving the quality of health services.

Prof. El-Salem said that the outputs included in the vision were the result of discussions that took place in a group of national economic workshops that were held at the Royal Hashemite Court based on the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, especially the emphasis on Jordan's enjoyment of a reputable health care sector that has a track record of achievements in the field of care. This is due to the availability of health capabilities, specialized medical skills, and distinguished modern hospitals.​
