A high-level American delegation from a number of American universities affiliated with the UCN umbrella visited Jordan University of Science and Technology, yesterday evening.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed opening and expanding new areas of cooperation between the network members from the American and Jordanian sides to benefit from international experiences and expertise, and follow up on all new and innovative ideas and proposals to monitor and circulate them, enabling societies to make them more capable and in harmony with the sustainable development system.

The President of the University, Prof. Khalid El-Salem, referred to the university's endeavor, as part of its strategy, to be a distinguished research and pioneering university, and a catalyst for creativity, innovation and leadership, stressing its keenness to develop external relations that support scientific research, capacity-building and partnerships with prestigious research universities.
