Jordan University of Science and Technology organized a scientific trip for a number of university students to the largest and most modern research Vessel OceanX in the world, with the aim of learning about the high technical capabilities and the unique and specialized scientific and media equipment in the world in the field of marine scientific research, which is located on Board the ship for the success of its mission to provide students with knowledge and experience in this context.

The trip came in accordance with the royal directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, to establish the Aqaba Marine Park as an international research center. In conjunction with the arrival of the largest and most modern exploratory research vessel in the world, to the port of Aqaba, to carry out an unprecedented scientific mission, in cooperation between the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority and the "Ocean X" initiative, to support researchers and scientists to explore the secrets of the Red Sea, and a deeper understanding to biodiversity in the waters of Aqaba, and to share this knowledge with the world in line with the objectives of the Aqaba Marine Park.

The President of the University, Prof. Khalid El-Salem, praised the importance of this scientific visit for the students and its role in enhancing their scientific and research capabilities, and instilling positive values about the importance of exploration and scientific research.
