Jordan University of Science and Technology Hosts an Introductory Session on the Crown Prince Award for Best Government Services Application

Jordan University of Science and Technology hosted an introductory session on the Crown Prince Award for Best Government Services Application, delivered by a specialized team from the Crown Prince Foundation and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, with the participation of a number of university students and those interested in entrepreneurship and digital transformation.
The session included a comprehensive presentation on the objectives of the award, its pillars, eligibility criteria, and application procedures, as well as its role in stimulating innovation in government services and encouraging students and youth to develop high-quality digital solutions that serve the public sector and align with the Kingdom’s digital transformation priorities.
The session was attended by Dr. Husam Qublan, Director of the E-Learning and Open Educational Resources Center and the University’s representative for the preparation and launch of the fifth cycle of the Award. Dr. Qublan emphasized the University’s commitment to supporting national initiatives that enhance creativity and innovation among students, noting that the Crown Prince Award represents an important platform for enabling students to transform their ideas into government services applications with tangible impact.
This session comes in line with the University’s vision to strengthen partnerships with national institutions and support efforts aimed at building students’ capacities in the fields of innovation, technology, and digital transformation. It also reflects the role played by the Crown Prince Foundation and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in empowering Jordanian youth and engaging them in the development of government solutions, thereby contributing to sustainable development and the building of a competitive knowledge-based economy.
At the conclusion of the session, the Award team addressed students’ inquiries, emphasizing the importance of seizing this national opportunity and participating with innovative ideas and projects.
