Jordan University of Science and Technology and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Discuss Cooperation

August 28 /// The Jordan University of Science and Technology received a delegation from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)   The visit aimed to enhance academic and research cooperation and discuss joint initiatives.

 

The delegation met with the University's Vice President, Professor Muna Abu Dalo, in the presence of Professor Muhannad Quwaider, Director of the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects; Professor Borhan Al-Bas, Dean of the Nanotechnology Institute; and Professor Hani Abu Qudais. The meeting discussed ways to cooperate in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship, and exchange of expertise.

The program included a presentation of the University's proposed projects, as well as future initiatives and work plans, and their alignment with national priorities and the University's strategic objectives, in line with the priorities of the Korean Agency.

 The visit included a field tour of the university's facilities, including the Center of Excellence for Creative Projects, where the delegation was briefed on a number of pioneering projects and innovation incubators for university students. The delegation also viewed the Nanotechnology Institute, which showcased its advanced research infrastructure and opportunities for scientific collaboration. The delegation also visited the Science and Technology Advisory Center, which offered training programs, advisory services, and strategic partnerships with the industrial sector.

The visit concluded with a discussion session that addressed ways to develop cooperation between the two sides and expand the horizons of future partnerships in the fields of scientific research, innovation, and technological development
