The Deanship of Academic Development and Quality Assurance at Jordan University of Science and Technology organized a training workshop entitled "Statistical Analysis for Documenting and Sharing Assessment Results to Improve Teaching and Learning", on Sunday and Monday, 20–21/09/2026, as part of the series of workshops accredited for academic promotion purposes. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Hanan Al-Hammouri.

The workshop was inaugurated by Professor Maher Tadros, Dean of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, who emphasized during the opening the importance of utilizing sound statistical analysis to document and share assessment results, thereby contributing to supporting academic decision-making and improving teaching and learning practices at the university.

The workshop aimed to equip faculty members with the necessary statistical skills, covering descriptive and inferential analysis methods for assessment data using JMP software, and clear result-presentation techniques. It also included practical applications on assessment data and hands-on activities that allowed participants to practice the steps of analysis and documentation themselves, enhancing the quality and credibility of the educational process.
