In a scene that blended academic expertise with youthful ambition, the Faculty of Pharmacy at **Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST)** made a strong and distinguished contribution to the **Second Specialized Pharmaceutical Youth Forum**, held in the capital, Amman, from **3–5 February 2026**. This participation went beyond a ceremonial presence, reflecting the Faculty's commitment to building effective bridges between academic education and the evolving labor market.

The Faculty was represented by a senior delegation led by **Professor Qusai Al-Balas, Dean of the Faculty**, along with a high-level administrative and academic team that included **Dr. Soraya Alnabulsi (Vice Dean)**, **Dr. Rand Ghanma, Dr. Suzan Qawaqzeh, and Dr. Ahlam Al-Haj Hassan (Assistant Deans)**, **Dr. Naseeba Al-Namrawi (Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology)**, and **Dr. Islam Al-Khawaldeh (Head of the Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy)**.

The forum witnessed wide participation from **JUST pharmacy students**, alongside notable official and professional representation from the **Ministry of Health**, the **Jordan Pharmacists Association**, the **Health Care Accreditation Council**, and members of the **Jordanian Parliament**, in addition to academics, experts, and decision-makers from both the public and private sectors.

Discussions focused on the **future of the pharmacy profession in Jordan**, emphasizing alignment between pharmaceutical education and labor market needs, enhancing graduate readiness, and highlighting emerging pharmaceutical specializations. These themes were explored through panel discussions and specialized workshops covering key areas, including:

* National policies, regulation, accreditation, and quality of pharmaceutical practice

* Collaboration between the pharmaceutical industry and academic institutions

* Digital pharmacy and artificial intelligence in healthcare

* Pharmacoeconomics and health technology assessment

* Nuclear pharmacy and quality control

* Entrepreneurship, innovation, and pharmaceutical business models

* Youth empowerment and the development of future pharmaceutical leaders

The Faculty's participation underscores its dedication to active engagement in national specialized platforms and to strengthening communication and collaboration with regulatory, professional, and industrial stakeholders. Such efforts contribute directly to the continuous development of academic programs, enhanced support for graduates, and increased competitiveness in the job market.
