The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Jordan University of Science and Technology has renewed the accreditation of all its departments by the British Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC) for an additional four years, reaffirming the Faculty's commitment to internationally recognized academic quality standards.
During a meeting with the ASIC delegation, the University's Vice President, Professor Basheer Khassawneh, highlighted the role of international accreditation in strengthening global recognition of academic programs, enhancing graduates' competitiveness, and expanding academic and research collaboration with international institutions.
The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Saleem Banihani, stated that the renewed accreditation—first awarded in 2018—aligns with the strategic plans of the Faculty and the University, and supports the continuous development of academic programs and educational outcomes in line with local and international labor market needs.
He added that the Faculty holds three international accreditations in addition to official Jordanian accreditations, further enhancing graduates' career prospects and reinforcing the regional and global standing of Jordan University of Science and Technology.
