A cooperation agreement Between JUST and TQ Pharma


Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) signed, an academic and training cooperation agreement with TQ Pharma Pharmaceutical Industry, aiming at strengthening collaboration in training, qualification, and knowledge exchange. The agreement aligns with the University's commitment to linking educational outcomes with labor market needs.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the University by Prof. Basheer Al-Khasawneh, Vice President of JUST, and on behalf of the company by Prof. Al-Sayyid Al-Arabi Sallam, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Head of the Scientific Research Center. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Qusai Al-Balass, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Osama Alshogran, Vice Dean.

Under the agreement, TQ Pharma will provide training opportunities for students in the Pharmaceutical and Biological Manufacturing program within the dual studies system offered by the Faculty of Pharmacy. This program integrates academic education with practical, workplace-based training. The cooperation also includes organizing joint courses, workshops, and conferences in the fields of pharmaceuticals, pharmacy practice, and regulatory affairs, in addition to arranging scientific visits for students to the company's facilities.

The agreement further emphasizes the importance of exchanging expertise, enhancing employment opportunities for graduates, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and data protection, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Prof. Al-Khasawneh highlighted that the agreement reflects the University's dedication to building strategic partnerships with the pharmaceutical industry, enabling students to acquire practical skills that enhance their competencies and competitiveness in the job market.

For his part, Prof. Al-Sayyid Al-Arabi expressed his pride in this collaboration with JUST, noting that the company is committed to leveraging its expertise and resources to support students and prepare a qualified generation capable of keeping pace with the rapid advancements in the pharmaceutical industry.
