October 27 /// The Board of Trustees at Jordan University of Science and Technology, chaired by Professor Ziad Freiz and upon the recommendation of University President Professor Khaled El-Salem, has approved the following academic appointments:

-Professor Basheer Khassawneh as Vice President of the University
-Professor Firas Qarqaz as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine

These appointments come following the vacancy in the Vice President for Medical Affairs position, after the recent Royal Decree appointing Professor Suhad Al-Jundi as a member of the Senate.​
