March 18/// Jordan University of Science and Technology, in cooperation with the Municipality of Houran Plain, held a free medical day in the town of Al-Shajara. The medical day was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs in cooperation with the medical colleges at the university.

The activities of the medical day, which was sponsored by the Vice President of the University, Prof. Suhad Al-Jundi, on behalf of its President, Prof. Khalid El-Salem, included examinations in various fields. The examinations were in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery and dentistry, awareness clinics, eye examination, glucose level examination, blood pressure examination and conducting various examinations in the areas of hearing, speech, teeth, vital functions, and consultations in physical and occupational therapy, in addition to training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation for emergency cases.
