Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) has achieved a significant milestone, making notable progress in the 2025 Shanghai Global Rankings by Subject. This advancement reinforces JUST's position as a leading regional and international university in medicine and health.

JUST achieved high global rankings in four key disciplines: Dentistry ranked 151–200, Nursing ranked 201–300, and both Medicine and Public Health ranked 401–500 globally. Nationally, the university secured first place in Medicine, Dentistry, and Public Health. It was also the only Jordanian university to have its Medicine program included in this year's Shanghai Ranking, highlighting its distinction among national and regional academic institutions.

This achievement reflects JUST's growing excellence in scientific research, innovation, and academic output, demonstrating its ability to compete globally in disciplines critical to the healthcare sector. It also underscores the advancement of higher education in Jordan and the growing prominence of national universities in global rankings.

The university's progress is driven by a pioneering research environment that supports high-impact studies, strengthens international partnerships, and provides state-of-the-art laboratories and educational technology. Efforts to develop graduate programs and enhance scientific publications and citations have also contributed to these results.

Professor Khalid El-Salem, President of JUST, emphasized that this achievement is the result of a comprehensive institutional effort focused on research, development, and high-quality teaching. He stated that the university continues to implement strategic plans to enhance scientific output, expand partnerships with prestigious global universities, and invest in talented human resources. Prof. El-Salem added that these results strengthen JUST's global presence and advance its health programs in line with international trends, supporting the Jordanian and regional healthcare sectors with highly skilled professionals.

This accomplishment adds to JUST's long-standing record of excellence, confirming its ability to further develop its academic and research programs and solidifying its reputation as a prestigious university competing confidently on the international stage.
