JUST University Organizes Korean Cultural Day in Cooperation with the Korean Cultural Center

November 20 – The Deanship of Student Affairs at Jordan University of Science and Technology held a Korean Cultural Day on Thursday, in cooperation with the Korean Cultural Center in Irbid, as part of the university's ongoing efforts to promote cultural exchange and foster openness to global cultures.

The event featured a variety of activities, including cultural competitions, traditional Korean games, Korean cuisine tasting, and the distribution of souvenirs to participating students. It also included a display of traditional Korean attire and contests designed to assess students' knowledge of Korean culture and language. The activities witnessed strong student engagement, creating an atmosphere that reflected the depth of cultural cooperation between Jordan and Korea.

Professor Majed Masa'deh, Dean of Student Affairs, emphasized that organizing this event aligns with the university's mission to broaden students' horizons and introduce them to diverse world cultures. He highlighted the vital role that extracurricular activities play in enriching the university experience and enhancing students' social and cognitive skills.

At the conclusion of the event, the Dean of Student Affairs honored representatives of the Korean Cultural Center in appreciation of their active participation and their contribution to the success of the cultural day and the strengthening of cultural ties between the two sides.

This activity is part of a series of international events that the university organizes annually to strengthen cultural and academic engagement between students and diverse communities worldwide.
