Jordan University of Science and Technology has achieved the 14th position in the Arab world and the 1st locally in the Arab University Rankings. This ranking is issued by the Arab Ranking Council, affiliated with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), and the Association of Arab Universities. Universities are assessed based on an objective and precise evaluation of four main indicators: education and learning; scientific research; creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation; and international and local collaboration, as well as community service. It is noteworthy that the number of universities participating in the 2024 cycle reached 180 Arab universities, including 17 Jordanian universities
