A delegation from Almaarefa University, Saudi Arabia, visited Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) on Sunday, where they met with the university's Vice President, Professor Basheer Khasawneh, along with the deans of the medical faculties.

The delegation included Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sagheer, Advisor to the President of Almaarefa University, Engineer Mohammed bin Zaid Al-Zamil, CEO of the university, Professor Mohammed Al-Darabeah, and Hani Al-Nawafleh, Secretary-General of the Jordanian Nursing Council.

The meeting focused on exploring ways to strengthen research and academic collaboration between the two universities in diverse fields such as medicine, science, training, and scientific research.

Professor Khasawneh provided an overview of JUST's academic programs, faculties, and departments, highlighting the university's commitment to fostering partnerships with Arab universities. He stressed the importance of expanding opportunities for collaboration in areas such as research, teaching, student exchange programs, and other academic activities.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sagheer expressed Almaarefa University's keen interest in leveraging JUST's distinguished expertise, particularly in training students from health-related faculties. He commended JUST for its exceptional academic reputation and its pivotal role in advancing education and research in the region.​
