The High Health Council (HHC) has officially accredited "Maharat" platform, developed by Jordan University of Science and Technology, as a platform for conducting activities within the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program. This program is considered one of the essential requirements for renewing licenses for healthcare professionals. 

This accreditation is part of broader efforts to strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions and healthcare entities, offering comprehensive and innovative professional development opportunities. 

“Maharat", which provides Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), is the first platform of its kind among Jordanian universities. It is one of the initiatives by the Center for E-Learning and Open Educational Resources, serving both local and international communities. 

The platform hosts a wide range of courses across fields such as medicine, engineering, sciences, information technology, and graphic design, aimed at developing the skills and experiences demanded by the job market. Currently, it offers 48 courses with over 100 instructional videos. More than 6,363 participants have registered on the platform, and over 2,000 training certificates have been issued.
