The activity included scientific lectures and interactive workshops, presented by specialists in the field of breast cancer, where the importance of early detection of breast cancer and methods of its prevention were highlighted, and the distribution of publications and awareness materials to the attendees, in addition to organizing free examinations for early detection of the disease.
The importance of spreading awareness and health education among the various target age groups about this disease, which is one of the most common types of cancers among women, focusing on changing the view and stereotype about cancer, putting cancer control on the priorities of decision-makers, and spreading hope.
