August 17/// The President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Prof. Khalid El-Salem, and the President of the Iraqi University of Anbar, Prof. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, signed a memorandum of understanding between the two sides concerned with strengthening the research and educational process in both universities.

 The memorandum of understanding stipulates encouraging the development of exchange programs based on the academic and educational needs of the two universities through exchange programs for faculty members, exchange of students, joint supervision of postgraduate students, exchange of academic materials, and stimulation of joint scientific research between the two sides.

The two sides affirmed the depth of the existing brotherly relations between Jordan and Iraq, the foundations of which were laid by the leaderships of the two countries in all fields, especially in the educational fields.
