The President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Prof. Khalid El-Salem, met with a delegation from the Directorate of Education, Education and Military Culture, headed by its Director, Brigadier General Sufyan Subhi Sleihat.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed educational, academic and student relations between the university and the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army.

El-Salem stressed the pioneering educational role provided by the Directorate of Military Culture in implementing the provisions and axes of the royal honor for the children of the military, adding that the university is ready to provide the necessary facilities to the Directorate of Military Education and Culture to enhance its role in providing higher education opportunities for the children of the armed forces to complete their university studies with ease. In cooperation with the Royal High Commissioner.​​​

In turn, Brigadier General Sleihat praised the pioneering role and support that the university presents for the Directorate, which is represented in receiving scholarship students at the expense of the Royal High Commissioner, in addition to the great role it plays in society, its distinguished reputation and the achievements it has achieved locally and internationally.
