Jordan University of Science and Technology Team Wins the Industrial Robotics Competition

A team of stundents from Jordan University of Science and Technology won first place in the “Fire Fighter contest 2022” in the field of robot design, which was recently organized by Princess Sumaya University for Technology, with the participation of 21 teams from several Jordanian universities.

Jordan University of Science and Technology participated with its team “JUST Fighter)”, which consisted of four students: Osama Raafat from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Muhammad Seyouf from the Department of Computer Engineering, and students Muhammad Abu Issa and Haitham Abu Al-Haijaa.

University President, Prof. Khalid El-Salem, said that Jordan University of Science and Technology is proud of the achievements made by the students, pointing to the keenness of the university administration to adopt and support the creative and distinguished ideas of Jordanian youth and to provide the students with the opportunity to prove their ability and distinction and stimulate the spirit of cooperation, partnership and competition with their colleagues in various Jordanian universities. He praised the efforts of the students and the professors supervising them and their continuous quest to participate in national and international competitions that support their scientific career and hone their practical skills.
